Standard 5 - Learning Environments.
These pictures show how the learning environment is arranged with clear expectations, so if anyone walked in the door and read the board they would know what is going on. The children's desks are placed in mixed ability collaborative work groups and the large group area is set up to reflect the individual multiple intelligences each child posseses. The children are expected to learn how they are smart and the teacher can assess skills using the child's talents and abilties to plan instruction.
